Australia’s Best Looking Bike Storage Facility

The National Museum of Australia now has a beautiful, architecturally significant end of trip bike storage facility recently completed by BikeStorage.com.au

Designed by the museum’s architects ARM Architecture the gleaming, origami like structure features a mixture of bike rack options. These include the innovative, space saving Bike Storage ground mounted sliding rack, the vertical Bike Wall ™ and the Pause rack for electric bike charging as well as the GM850 bike rack. Lockers and a seat for changing provide extra incentives for people to ride to work.

The secure bike cage provides bicycle parking for 58 cyclists and is a welcome addition to commuting options for the national landmark’s employees.

And, with paid weekday parking between 8.30am-5pm recently introduced on national land near the parliamentary triangle, cycling is sure to become a more attractive transport option.

Bike Storage was proud to deliver the sleek structure on time and on budget.

“It was a technically challenging build featuring unique engineering and high end materials. The end result is a bicycle storage facility that does justice to the museum and the cyclists who will use it. We believe it is the best looking bike storage facility in Australia, if not the world and even  more importantly cyclist needs were at the centre of the process,” says Graeme Roth, Director of BikeStorage.com.
